Description: The Arts Center of Coastal Carolina will be hosting its annual Youth ArtsFest. The festival, which has free admission, will be held from 11:00-1:00 and will include crafts, performing arts workshops, food, and more.
Drama Workshops will be held at 11 a.m. (ages 9 and up) and 12 noon (ages 5-8).
Dance Workshops will be held at 11: a.m. (ages 5-8) and 12 noon (ages 9 and up).

Visual arts opportunities include a Collaborative Weaving project, Spin Art Frisbees, Pop Art Handprints, Sand Painting and a glitter tattoo station. These educational crafts range from $1 to $3 and will be on-going during the festival.
To further highlight youth artists, the Promising Picassos Exhibit in the Arts Center’s Woods Community Room will be open all day with more than 80 works of art on display from Beaufort County youth in grades 3-12. From mixed media to line drawings, photography to collage, these works of art represent the best of Beaufort County student artwork and will be on display through March 17.
