2024 marks the 28-year history of partnership between the Arts Center and the Gullah community. Taste of Gullah will be held on the Arts Center grounds once again for a celebration of this beautiful culture represented by art, crafts, entertainment, and of course, the main course – Gullah specialties!
Residents and visitors alike will enjoy delicious food with Gullah flair!
Inside the cozy Walter Greer Gallery, browse the Art League of Hilton Head’s annual exhibit and sale of De Aarts Ob We People, one of the largest displays of original work by emerging and acclaimed artists representing the life of Gullah people in the Lowcountry.
Also in the Arts Center ticket lobby on Saturday will be the eclectic new and used book selection provided by "An Island Bookshelf!"
All ages are welcome to join the festivities:
Saturday, February 10, 12noon–3pm at the Arts Center.
In partnership with NIBCAA & the Gullah Celebration.
This project is funded in part by the South Carolina Arts Commission, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
