The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is proud to a part of the Shelter Cove Community. While headquartered in Beaufort, the Sheriff’s Office maintains a fully-staffed substation on Hilton Head located at 70 Shelter Cove Lane. This office serves as the base of operations for the Southern Division, which includes Enforcement and Investigations.
The Shelter Cove office is a centrally-located facility on the island that is staffed by a full-time Administrative staff, available to serve the needs of the community. Residents and visitors can visit this substation to: file or request copies of incident reports and other documents, meet with Deputies, and/or seek information about the County.
